Our Golden Policies
Golden Policies of the Tours Maravillas El Salvador Team for the travel experiences we offer:

Reservations for others: Do not reserve spots for another person if they cannot attend. If a member of your party does not show up on the day of the trip, the person who made the reservation is responsible for paying the total cost of all reserved spots.

No-Show & Lateness Policy: No refunds will be issued if you fail to show up on the day of the tour or if you miss the departure due to lateness.

Full Payment: If you make a reservation for a specific number of people, you must pay in full for every space reserved.

Cancellations & Refunds: If for any reason you decide not to attend the tour, no refunds will be issued, as your deposit is used for the tour's operational expenses. If the trip is suspended due to weather conditions, we will proceed with rescheduling the date or issuing a refund.

Alcohol Policy: We ask for responsibility regarding the NON-consumption of alcoholic beverages. Remember that this is an open tour, and respect for every tourist is required.

Minimum Group Size: Tours Maravillas requires a minimum of 10 people to operate a tour. If this quota is not met, we will inform you 24 hours before the scheduled date. In such cases, we will either provide a refund within 24 hours of the suspended tour date or partner with our alliance brands to provide the service for the same published destinations.

Final Instructions: Tours Maravillas will contact travelers at 2:00 PM the day before the trip to provide general instructions. This communication may be direct or via a WhatsApp group organized by the assigned tour guide.

International Travel: When booking a tour to another country, you must send your ID (DUI) and Passport (for minors) along with your booking voucher. These documents are used to organize migration pre-check protocols.

Seating Policy: Tours Maravillas does not offer seat reservations; seats are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Exceptions are made for those with a medical prescription. Pick-ups along the route are subject to an extra charge depending on the destination.

Support Staff: During the tour, Tours Maravillas may use the support of Motor-Guides, Staff Guides, Independent Guides, and Local Guides.

Staff Instructions & Feedback: Tour guides or coordinators are responsible for assisting during the tour. Please follow their instructions and treat them with courtesy. Any inquiries or complaints regarding the service must be handled directly through the official communication channels where you purchased the service, specifically with the person in charge at Tours Maravillas.

Parking: Parking is available at the departure point (Hotel Intercontinental) for a cost of $4.00 per day. This is an electronic parking system.
