History of La Palma Hotel and Restaurant

This La Palma Eco-Hostel was founded in 1942 by an Italian named Narciso Genoveses. It is a mountain lodging where Ecotourism is promoted, as tourists can enjoy nature and the art of colors on the Hotel's walls, which capture the warmth of the mountain people; it also holds a history of generations of joy and peace, with brushes from artisanal hands, its walls, a hat of white clouds illuminates the visitor's days and where they can live their own experience by crafting with their own hands a clay piece of their choice.

El Pital Natural Park.

Tour description: We make a stop in La Palma, where we visit its unique church and the small craft plaza where you can appreciate or purchase local crafts; then we continue until we reach Cantón Río Chiquito in San Ignacio, where we make a stop. We transfer by pick-up truck to El Pital Park; upon arriving at the park, we have time to enjoy the landscape, take photos, breathe fresh air, go ziplining, and have lunch; subsequently, we take a walk of approximately 40 minutes to the border marker (Honduras border) and Peña Rajada, a spectacular place where you can experience the adventure of crossing a giant bridge about 50m high, which is crossed by walking about 100 meters.

Finally, in the afternoon, you will be able to purchase vegetables or fruits (Rincón de las Fresas Farm) native to the area and enjoy the beautiful landscape at Rincón de las Fresas, before returning to San Salvador City.
